1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern access to the website operated by Express Fence & Deck Contracting LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a local contracting business based in Vancouver, Washington. The website introduces our services, provides general project information, and allows visitors to submit inquiries.
By using the website, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. These terms concern the website and inquiry process; the terms of actual construction work are established in a separate written project agreement.
2. Services and project availability
Our website describes fence, deck, and deck railing work, along with painting and tile services offered through our general contracting business. Whether we can accept a particular project depends on its location, scope, site conditions, materials, scheduling, and other project requirements.
A service description or illustration is not a promise that every design, material, repair, or timing request is available. The work included in your project must be confirmed before you rely on it.
3. Contact forms and communications
Provide accurate contact details and information you are authorized to share. If you are making an inquiry for someone else, make sure you have permission to provide their details and discuss the property. Please do not include sensitive personal information in the form.
A form submission, delivery confirmation, or initial conversation does not reserve a work date, authorize work, accept an estimate, or create a construction contract. A delivery confirmation indicates that the inquiry was transmitted; it does not confirm project acceptance. Contact us by phone if you need to follow up on an inquiry or cannot submit the form.
By requesting follow-up, you authorize contact about that inquiry using the details you provide. You can ask us to stop further inquiry follow-up. Our form is not an emergency response service.
4. Estimates and written project agreements
Any general price discussion or preliminary estimate may depend on measurements, material selections, access, existing conditions, and the information available at the time. The assumptions, included work, exclusions, and any validity period should be confirmed in the written proposal.
Before work begins, the written project agreement should address the scope, materials, price and taxes, payment arrangements, scheduling, permit responsibilities, changes to the work, and any applicable warranties or cancellation provisions. Applicable disclosures must also be provided where required.
If a signed project agreement conflicts with these website terms regarding the project, that agreement controls, subject to applicable law. No deposit amount, late fee, nonrefundable charge, or cancellation penalty is established by these website terms.
5. Site conditions, permits, and scheduling
Property boundaries, utility locations, access, existing structures, drainage, and other site conditions may affect a project. Permit, inspection, code, and association requirements depend on the address and proposed work. Responsibilities should be discussed and recorded in the project agreement.
Weather, material availability, site discoveries, and required approvals can affect anticipated timing. A date discussed before project acceptance is not a guaranteed start or completion date. Changes to agreed work or timing should be addressed through the project agreement and applicable law.
6. Articles, images, and customer feedback
Articles and FAQs offer general planning information. They do not replace an on-site assessment, project-specific design, manufacturer instructions, or a decision by the applicable permitting authority. Requirements and product guidance may change; follow the current information relevant to your project.
Images identified as design inspiration are illustrative and may be generated images. They are not represented as photographs of work completed by our company. Material colors, dimensions, and finished appearances may differ from an illustration or screen display.
Attributed customer review excerpts describe the reviewer’s experience. Published rating counts are dated snapshots where indicated; the original review platform is the source for current information. A review is not a guarantee of the outcome of another project.
7. Website content and permitted use
Website text, original design elements, and other content are owned by us or used under the rights of the relevant owners. Third-party trademarks, materials, and review content remain subject to their owners’ rights.
You may browse the website and save or print information for personal project planning. This permission does not authorize commercial republication, use of our branding to imply endorsement, or removal of ownership notices. Other uses require permission from the appropriate rights holder.
8. Appropriate use of the website
Do not use the website to submit fraudulent inquiries, impersonate another person, send spam or unlawful material, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data. Do not attempt to defeat form protections or overload the website through automated requests.
We may restrict activity that threatens the security or normal operation of the website. Such a restriction does not determine any rights or obligations under a separate project agreement.
9. Third-party resources and privacy
The website may link to Google reviews, government guidance, manufacturers, and other third-party resources. We do not control their availability, content, or terms. A reference link does not by itself establish an endorsement, certification, or business relationship.
Our collection and handling of website inquiry information are described in the Privacy Policy, including the Telegram form-delivery service and externally loaded fonts. Review the policies of external services when you use them.
10. Website availability and limits
We aim to provide useful and accurate information, but the website may contain errors or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, website information is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, error-free content, or suitability for a particular project. Confirm details directly before making a project decision.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses resulting solely from reliance on general website information or interruption of website access. This provision does not limit obligations under an agreed construction project, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or your statutory consumer rights.
11. Applicable law and concerns
These website terms are governed by Washington State law, except where another applicable law requires otherwise. They do not require mandatory arbitration, waive a right to bring a complaint, or limit protections that cannot be waived under applicable law.
If you have a concern about the website or an inquiry, contact us and describe the issue so we can review it. Project disputes are addressed under the applicable project agreement and law. If a provision of these website terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these website terms to reflect changes in the website or our inquiry process. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised effective date and apply prospectively, subject to applicable law. A website update does not amend an existing signed project agreement.
